Alpaca Fiber Cooperative of North America
- AFCNA is an agricultural cooperative formed and owned by alpaca producers in North America for the purpose of collecting and processing alpaca fiber and distributing alpaca fiber and related products and the profit from them to its owners (members). Our goal is to maximize the long-term benefits to our members, the individual alpaca fiber producers, and to the alpaca breeding industry as a whole.
Since its founding in 1998, AFCNA has grown to almost 900 members. We welcome all North American alpaca owners to join the Coop and work with us to build a sustainable and successful alpaca fiber industry.

State of Jefferson Alpaca Association
- We are a co-op organization that believes in the value of alpacas and in the long term health of the alpaca industry. We believe that by working together we can further the awareness of the unique attributes of the alpaca as we strive toward creating a permanent place for the alpaca in the American livestock community. We are located in a region spanning Northern California and Southern Oregon. Each fall we sponsor, organize and conduct AlpacaMania, an event that has become the premier autumn alpaca show on the West Coast.
