AgrAbility Project - The AgrAbility Project was created to assist people with disabilities employed in agriculture. The project links the Cooperative Extension Service at a land-grant university with a private nonprofit disability service organization to provide practical education and assistance that promotes independence in agricultural production and rural living. The AgrAbility Project assists people involved in production agriculture who work both on small and large operations.

National Rural Recruitment and Retention Network (3R Net) - 3R Net is made up of not-for-profit state organizations who help health professionals locate practice sites in rural areas throughout the country. Each organization has information regarding rural practice sites in their respective states. They will be able to assist health professionals and their families identify the resources necessary to meet the personal and professional requirements they seek. Rural Assistance Center - Health and human services problems in rural areas differ from those in urban areas, and access to rural-specific information is critical. Located at the University of North Dakota, the RAC was established in 2002 as a health and human services "information portal" to help rural communities and stakeholders access the full range of available programs, funding, and research that can enable them to provide quality health and human services to rural residents.

The Nebraska Center for Rural Health Research - The Center focuses on special populations among rural residents, including the elderly, children, minorities, mentally ill, under and uninsured, and new immigrants whose needs for assistance are unique. Specific projects include analysis of national policies, studies of market-driven change in rural areas, studies of use of services by the elderly, and studies of access to, and utilization of health services by minority populations.
