  • Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), - We inform and educate the public on rural telecommunications.The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), through a partnership with the National Telephone Cooperative Association (NTCA), aims to educate the public on rural telecommunications issues and advocates on behalf of the industry in order to improve the quality of life throughout rural America. FRS is a 501 (c)(3) organization.

  • Fund for Rural America 2001 - The Fund for Rural America competitive grant program supports competitively awarded research, extension and education grants addressing key issues that contribute to economic diversification and sustainable development in rural areas. The amount available for support of this program in FY 2001 is approximately $9,500,000. It is anticipated that approximately 15-20 awards will be made from the two programmatic areas.
